Round steak comes from an area of the beef that performs a lot of work. It therefore needs time when cooking. Round steak is best used for slow cooking or when making stews or casseroles. As with all our beef, it comes from our own supply of Black Angus Cattle. They are dry aged for up to five weeks. Through the dry aging process beef looses moisture which intensifies the flavour of the steaks.
